an opening into
living world of
music and movement.
My name is Susan Seale and I have been playing music my entire life. I was born into a musical family and knew from a young age that I would be a teacher. I have been studying music, movement and creative arts since my own early childhood.
I believe that by educating and engaging children in a cooperative community setting with a focus on wholeness of spirit rather than a focus on performance we lay the foundation for resilient, loving, respectful, creative grown-up people.
Through voice, dance, drama, listening, playing and creating with instruments and one another we build relationships that promote growth and development, healing, joy and aliveness.
After more than 35 years of teaching, nurturing, performing and celebrating with families I can confidently say and see how learning through music and movement positively impacts development in a multitude of areas:
- communication skills
- interpersonal skills
- fine motor skills
- gross motor skills
- cognitive skill
